Galina, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my years of playing judo and traveling solo to over 35 countries. Judo instilled in me the discipline and dedication required to excel, both on and off the mat. Traveling alone taught me self-reliance and the importance of punctuality. I always say, “If you are on time, you are late,” because being prepared and ahead of schedule has been crucial to my success. These experiences have shaped my strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in everything I do.

Galina, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is the documentary film I’m currently producing about breast cancer. This project is especially significant to me because I have been personally affected by the disease. I’ve witnessed the impact it can have on loved ones, and it’s profoundly shaped my perspective on life and resilience.

Blossoming Beyond: Galina Slavova's Journey from Breast Cancer to Empowerment Through Film, Foundation, and Fitness
Newly formed non-profit to provide free one-on-one therapy sessions and inspiration for breast cancer patients.
Galina Slavova, Bulgarian athlete, fitness model, actress, and resilient breast cancer survivor, is excited to unveil key initiatives aimed at supporting and inspiring those facing similar challenges. The launch of the "Blossoming Beyond" Cancer Survivor Documentary Feature Film and the establishment of the Blossoming Beyond Foundation mark significant milestones in her advocacy. Galina's participation in the Ms. Health & Fitness Competition, which began on May 6, 2024, is especially significant as she returns to the same event she was training for when diagnosed with breast cancer a year prior. Her comeback symbolizes a profound journey of "blossoming beyond" the disease.

Galina Slavova is an Actress, Writer, and Producer based in Los Angeles, California. She has been recently cast in the popular TV-SERIES Vice Squad Miami and she certainly has an edge on action roles! Galina has also written a non fiction script for a feature film that is projected to start casting in March 2021. She has many great things going for her and rising in the film industry.

I am a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness and support. As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with this journey. One of the most exciting and special aspects of my work is the recent launch of my non-profit, Blossoming Beyond Foundation. This foundation aims to provide free therapy to cancer patients and survivors, addressing a critical need for emotional and psychological support during and after treatment.
